Take a journey back through history.

Pyramid Ranger Station on the Routt National Forest.

Built in 1935, the Pyramid Ranger Station was one of the first complexes in Colorado to be built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The site provides an excellent example of the type of work the CCC accomplished in the National Forests during the Great Depression.

The Pyramid Ranger Station still provides housing for Forest Service staff and volunteers.
