2.4 Camping at Maroon Bells

Camping overnight is the best way to immerse yourself in the wonders of Maroon Valley. Camping is available at the Silver Bar, Silver Bell and Silver Queen campgrounds located along Maroon Creek Road. Campsites may be reserved in advance on recreation.gov.

When you are camping, you are sleeping in an area that is home to other critters like bear, chipmunk, moose, elk and deer.

Never, ever feed wildlife.

Protect your camping memories, by protecting yourself and the bears. Store your food properly.

**The following applies to each campground**

Amenities: Vault Toilets, Fire Grates, Portable Water, Trash Disposal, Picnic Tables, and Bear Boxes.

REQUIRED: Food must be properly stored while camping in one of these campgrounds, either in the bear box provided at each site or sealed and locked inside a hard-sided camper or vehicle.
